ASUS Transformer Pro T304UA Notebook Driver Download
I bought the Asus Transformer Pro T304UA for purely professional use. As a frequently traveling lecturer and specialist author, I need a computer as a work tool for working on manuscripts and presentations as well as a presentation machine with connection of projectors via VGA and HDMI. In addition to office and internet applications, special software, in particular planning and simulation programs, some with dongle protection, is often used. In addition, large files are often exchanged with other devices via USB. Entertainment applications, on the other hand, don't play a role for me.
In the meantime I have been using the device intensively at home and abroad for over two months and, apart from the little things, I am completely satisfied. To be fair, you can't compare such a computer with high-end devices from much higher price ranges. It is ultimately the successor to the Eee PC, and the progress has been enormous.
The computer can fully replace a laptop for me on the go. Contrary to what some reviewers say, the keyboard is excellent in my opinion. I've already written a lot on it and find it much more pleasant than on my earlier Eee PC. However, I like to write on smaller keyboards anyway. Unfortunately, I have to confirm the advice from some reviewers that the screen is a fingerprint magnet. However, this problem can be eliminated with a matte screen protector. I use the Mumbi ( 2 x mumbi screen protector ASUS Transformer Book T100 (T100TA 25.65 cm 10.1 inch) protective film AntiReflex matt ) and so far I am very satisfied. This does not affect the touchscreen function. The touchpad doesn't always work perfectly, and the mouse buttons are very loud. This shortcoming is put into perspective by the possibility of using the touchscreen in laptop mode, so that one is less dependent on the touchpad. The occasionally reported problem that the touchpad comes off after a while has not occurred to me even after months of intensive use. This may be a problem from early delivery series that the manufacturer has since resolved. Enough has already been said about battery life, the battery always lasts for a normal working day for me. For presentations lasting several hours, however, I always use the network.
The piano lacquer look does look a bit cheap, but that was no different with the Eee PC. This can be remedied by the highly recommended leather case from Supremery ( Supremery - Asus Transformer Book T100TA Pocket Case Leather Case Sleeve Cover Protective cover in black with stand function for tablet and keyboard ). Then you can't see anything from the back of the screen. In this bag, the computer can be used in both laptop and tablet mode without restrictions. However, I use the Transformer Book almost exclusively in laptop mode. In tablet mode, the limitations as a work device are simply too great for me, and I also have a lot of data on the hard drive in the keyboard dock. Unfortunately I have not yet found out how to suppress the annoying opening of the on-screen keyboard in laptop mode. It always disappears immediately as soon as you press a key, but it's still a bit annoying. I would be grateful for a brief hint.
