Download Asus X554L Driver Notebook. The Asus X554L is a clear recommendation for me. I was looking for a notebook with a good price-performance ratio. To do this, I spent hours dealing with the latest hardware (CPU, GPU, RAM, etc.). My level of knowledge was also at the time when hardware was 10 years old, so I had to look at many benchmark comparisons of the individual components. In the end, I bought this notebook 2 times because you get a lot for 779 € (as of March 2019). So my wife and I can play together.
Asus X554L Performance:
Only after ordering I realized that there are a lot of reviews, tests and videos for this notebook on popular video platforms, all of which are positive. Therefore, I am not writing a detailed evaluation of the performance as this is sufficient and can be found in great detail in the WorldWideWeb. I can only positively confirm that the price-performance ratio is great here.
Here I would like to note that graphics card is installed in the notebook as in the description (as of March 2019).
Update for a little insight:
I was able to play Battlefield 5 in multiplayer on the Ultra setting with 25-35 FPS. In the medium setting it is already 40-50 FPS. The GPU temperature never went above 70 ° C.
Asus X554L Quality:
The look, feel and workmanship are very good in my opinion. The screen does not wobble when it is opened and also remains in place. The buttons and touchpad are all used properly.
Negative
- The speakers have a very bright "cheap" sound. The necessary volume is missing here, but where should it come from with this size of device.
- The volume of the fan. Under load, it sounds like a small handheld vacuum cleaner is running.
Both points can be ignored when switching to headphones.
